About Hedin Electric Mobility

Hedin Electric Mobility is the distributor of BYD passenger cars in Germany and Sweden. BYD (Build Your Dreams) is the world's leading manufacturer of electric vehicles. With almost 30 years of experience in battery research and development, BYD is globally recognised for its cutting-edge technology and world-leading innovations in e-mobility solutions for all types of transportation, including electric buses, trucks, commercial vehicles, and cars.

As a distributor for BYD, Hedin Electric Mobility is responsible for the distribution of vehicles, spare parts, and accessories to authorised dealers in Germany and Sweden. The partnership with BYD began in August 2022 and since then Hedin Electric Mobility has had a major focus on building up the distribution organisation and dealer network in each market, including logistics, aftermarket, training and more.

Hedin Electric Mobility’s operations are carried out in two companies based in Stuttgart, Germany and Mölndal, Sweden, respectively. Some 15 people are employed in the business, a number that is growing as the company prepares further launches of new, innovative BYD products in 2023 and forward.
