We are currently seeking a Dealer Operations Manager for our newly established Business Center. Hedin Business Center provides professional and devoted support to our Import Operations, including Hedin US Motor, the exclusive importer and distributor of the Ford F-150 in Europe, Hedin Adventure Car, the official distributor of INEOS Grenadier across 11 markets in Europe, Hedin Premium Car, the importer of the prestigious brand Hongqi in 6 markets in Europe and Hedin Electric Mobility, the official distributor of BYD (Build Your Dreams) in Sweden.
About the Role
As Dealer Operations Manager, you will play a key role in developing and strengthening our dealer network. You will ensure that our dealers meet the manufacturer’s standards while managing contracts and system administration. Your structured and detail-oriented approach will make you a vital link between the dealers and the company, contributing to consistency, high quality, and a first-class customer experience. This role combines strategic thinking with operational responsibilities and reports directly to the Head of Hedin Business Center, working closely across multiple brands and departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Support dealer appointment process and associated documentations
- Establishing and maintaining dealer agreements for vehicle sales and service
- Defining, implementing, and monitoring standards (Retail Look & Style) for the dealer network in line with manufacturer requirements
- Implement in-depth marketing analysis to identify growth opportunities and understand customer needs.
- Support ongoing reporting and training completion etc
- Manage retailer lists/ database and ensure data is cascaded around the business
- Providing first-line support for dealer-related processes and system queries
- Lead and run business development projects, from idea to implementation
- Ensuring compliance with competition rules and block exemption regulations
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to maintain a strong and cohesive dealer network
Key Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for a structured and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills. You should be comfortable managing complex processes and thrive in an environment that demands both strategic thinking and operational focus. Your communication skills enable you to build strong relationships with colleagues and dealers, while your solution-oriented mindset ensures efficient processes and high quality.
You excel at handling multiple projects simultaneously and can prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in administrative work, preferably in the automotive industry or equivalent dealership operations
- Good knowledge of competition rules and block exemptions
- Experience with system administration
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken. German meritorious.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- A valid driver’s license (B) and flexibility to travel as needed
